Tips and Tricks for your new Andriod Smartphones

Did you bought a  new smartphone but wondering what to do with it??

I also had the same question when I got a new Samsung Galaxy Note as a gift from Samsung. I was lucky that I got it just the day before Christmas and so Samsung was like a Santa Claus for me and  my Note came at afternoon and till the next day I was just looking around what to do with this new Smartphone.????





Then I started in a queue, listened music,then called my friend,then messages and finally end up with the most addictive thing GAMES....


But this was not it..I would have done a lot of wonders with this new smartphones, which I did later and discovered some of them, here is a list of 10 Tips and tricks for all of you that you can do with your brand new Android Phone..


1. You are advised to sign in using your Google account when you first turn on your Android phone. It means that you have to use the same details as you use while logging into your Gmail account. After you sync your phone with your Gmail account, you can access your browsing history, calendar, email, etc.

2. You will also get an option of taking a back up of your phone's data to your Google Account. This will help you in cases where you lose or have to reset your phone. You can quickly retrieve your settings with this back up.

3. While downloading a new app from Google Play store, don't miss out on checking the box that says 'Allow automatic updating'. This will allow your apps to be automatically updated to the latest version without asking permission. It will save your time.

4. With Google Map, you can store maps offline. So, with an Android smartphone in hand, you don't need to waste your data plan while navigating. All you have to do is when you are connected to Wi-Fi, simply open Google Maps, select the area you want to store offline, tap the three dots at the bottom right of your screen, and tap 'Make available offline'. This will do the job for you.

5. You can sync your Android phone with popular social networks like Facebook via the settings app, The more networks you add, the easier it will become for you to share stuff like photos.

6. Make the most of widgets available in your Android smartphone. Widgets are the apps that live on your home screen and help in providing real-time information like news and weather. Just tap and drag the widgets on your screen from your phone's Widgets menu and keep yourself updated all the time. Some of the handy widgets that come with your Android phone allow you to control Wi-Fi, brightness, and other basic functions right from your home screen.

7. Though Google's app store is good enough to serve you with great apps, but if you are looking for more, change your security settings and allow your phone to install apps from unknown sources. It means that you can also download apps you find on websites or alternative app stores like Amazon's. But we advise that you should not get carried away with this option in hand. Be careful because you are allowing unknown apps on your phone that can make your device more prone to malware.

8. Your new Android smartphone has a voice-controlled assistant called Google Now which acts like a search tool. You can use your new 'assistant' to remind you of appointments, find sports scores and get you directions.

9. You can manage multiple apps at a time with your Android smartphone. Just tap the key on your phone. It lets you juggle between open apps.

10. Wanna delete an app from your home screen? Just tap and hold the app for a second and drag it to the 'Remove' button.
