Security
Telegram claims it is more secure than mass market messengers like WhatsApp and Line. It is based on the MTProto protocol built by its specialists, employing time-tested algorithms, to make security compatible with high speed delivery and reliability. Telegram encryptions is based on 256-bit symmetric AES encryption, RSA 2048 encryption and Diffie–Hellman secure key exchange.
